Arthur Hall Insurance Supports Operation Warm
Young children who might have to brave the recent bone chilling weather in the sleet and snow will be a little warmer now, thanks to Operation Warm and a local West Chester, PA business. Arthur Hall Insurance recently matched the cash donations of its employees to present a $500 check to Operation Warm President Kim Fortunato at the Operation Warm offices in Kennett Square. “This donation will help local disadvantaged children stay warm,” said Operation Warm President, Kim Fortunato.
Operation Warm works to enhance the self-esteem of disadvantaged children by providing new winter coats; thereby, promoting a positive self-image and fostering the conviction that says, “I am of value.” “Kim Fortunato does a terrific job with Operation Warm and we at Arthur Hall Insurance are proud to support her and Operation Warm in their mission,” said Arthur Hall Insurance President, James S. Denham. With millions of children living without the daily essentials that most of us rely on, Operation Warm is providing the one item most requested by schools and social service agencies, a new winter coat. For some children, this coat may be the first item of new clothing they have ever received. The hope is that the coat alleviates any shame or embarrassment these kids may feel about themselves and their unsolicited poverty. By keeping children warm, Operation Warm helps build self-confidence and improves self-esteem. When children feel good about themselves and fit in, they can arrive at school warm and ready to learn.
Operation Warm can be reached by phone at 610-925-5700 or on the web at www.operationwarm.org. Arthur Hall Insurance has protected businesses, organizations, professional offices, individuals, and families in the Delaware Valley and tri-state area since 1966.
