Arthur Hall Insurance Supports City Gate Mission
Coatesville, PA — Arthur Hall Insurance staff recently put their culinary skills to the test and served up homemade dishes at City Gate Mission in Coatesville, PA. As part of Arthur Hall Insurance’s community outreach program, staff prepared and served food and gathered gently used men’s clothing items for donation to the mission. The men of City Gate enjoyed the meal and appreciate the help and donations they receive, said Arthur Hall employee Ginger Glassman, who volunteers regularly at the mission .
City Gate Mission is a Bible based homeless shelter for men only, though women can attend evening meetings and prayer time. Their primary focus is to help men get back on their feet and live productive lives whether they are trying to overcome drugs or alcohol or just coming out of prison with no place to go. The men receive meals and lodging, and are required to attend Bible sessions and remain clean of drugs or alcohol.
City Gate Mission is run by Jim Davis and has been in operation for over 20 years. The food is donated by churches and local grocery stores and the evening meals are cooked and served by several different church organizations.
